This forum works on a ranking and promotion system. The higher your rank, the more clan and forum privileges you hold. Correspondingly, demotion for misconduct constitutes loss of privileges. This FAQ is divided up into things that will get you demoted and things that will get you banned.

Things that will get you demoted
Excessive swearing and profanity or abuse.
We're an adult clan which plays mature games, we expect strong language particularly where team kills are involved. However excessive profanity will quickly draw our attention. In practical terms it is self policing and relies on the post reporting system. This can be a challenge to adminsiter consistently, particularly if the same offended party does the reporting.
if you get reported we'll take action, if you don't then you got away with it.
No explicitly Pornographic or Sexual attachments, avatars or signatures.
For those of you that enjoy good skin tones, again, like the swearing, moderation is important. We'll investigate any reports we receive and take the appropriate action.
anything even remotely illegal and you're banned for good. No appeal.
Abusing an administrator or moderator
Consider griefing an admin or moderator akin to griefing the chain of command. You're here as our guest and we expect you to act accordingly. That being said, we're human and sometimes we deserve a bit of grief. All administrators and moderators uphold the virtue of a lively argument, just don't get personal.
Things that will get you banned
Repeated demotions
We have a three strike rule; any actions which cumulatively result in three or more demotions will end with a ban.and you will be removed from the clan You earn the right to promotions but enough is enough, if you abuse the system too many times you're out - Take your issues with authority elsewhere.
No Warez, Illegal Software or Copyrighted Material
This includes linking to, posting about, requesting, and suggesting ways of obtaining illegal software and/or other copyrighted materials. Furthermore, we will not tolerate postings that encourage people to violate copy protection by referring them to sites that have copy protection codes or cracks. We love our games and we want to enthusiastically support the people who make and publish them and encourage you to do the same by paying for them.
Also, If we find a .torrent file anywhere, you're gone.
No Hateful or Abusive Behaviour.
Do not post anything which is knowingly defamatory, abusive, hateful, harassing, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise illegal to or upon another member. Hate speech of any kind is not tolerated and will swiftly bring retributive justice.
No Advertising or Promotions.
You will not post topics or messages that solicit or promote any commercial concern or transmit advertising, promotional materials, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or make any commercial use of our service. Doing so will result in an immediate ban. Seriously, its worse than XBOX vs PS3 vs PC flame wars.
Appealing a Demotion or Ban
All administrator decisions are final.
All moderator decisions are subject to peer review and administrator oversight.
If you feel you have been demoted or banned unfairly by a moderator, please e-mail an administrator who will review the evidence and decide accordingly.
If you were banned by an administrator, don't even bother appealing.
